Goodlettsville, Tennessee — August 11, 2025 — Dollar General Corporation has initiated a voluntary recall of three lots of its 8-ounce Clover Valley® Instant Coffee amid concerns over the potential presence of glass fragments, according to a company announcement released on August 11 and made public by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on August 12 U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Scope of the Recall

The affected coffee was sold exclusively in Dollar General retail stores across 48 U.S. states—from July 9 through July 21, 2025. The only states excluded were Alaska and Hawaii U.S. Food and Drug Administration Allrecipes.

Health Risks and Origins

The recall follows a customer report of possible glass in the product.
