The Mississippi Department of Public Safety attended the Touch-a-Truck event over the weekend, offering community members a chance to meet officers and explore the vehicles used to keep the state safe, according to a department spokesperson.
Event attendees had the opportunity to get up close to fire trucks, police cars, and other emergency vehicles. Officials say the event aimed to foster community engagement and educate residents about public safety efforts.
Organizers thanked everyone who participated and expressed appreciation for the support from the community. The department highlighted its commitment to transparency and public outreach.
