Former Corinth School District Employee Charged with Using AI to Create Explicit Student Content

A former employee with the Corinth School District has been charged with using artificial intelligence, or AI, to create sexually explicit content featuring students.

According to the Daily Corinthian, Wilson Frederick Jones, a former instructor in the Corinth School District, was arrested Wednesday.

WTVA reports that Jones allegedly used AI to create videos of students engaging in sexually explicit acts.

Jones has been charged in federal court with production of a morphed image of child pornography and possession of a morphed image of child pornography, Corinth Police Chief Landon Tucker stated.

Chief Tucker said, “To reiterate, these images were AI-generated, and at no time did these victims willingly produce any images or know that their pictures were being manipulated in such a way.”

More will be released as it becomes available.
