Corinth Man Sentenced to 10 Years for Burglary

A Corinth man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison following a guilty plea to burglary of a building.

Benjamin Muckensturm, 35, admitted to breaking into a storage unit during an incident investigated by the Corinth Police Department. Detective Jerry Rogers served as the lead investigator.

At the time of the burglary, Muckensturm was on probation for possession of stolen property. His probation was revoked as part of the sentencing. He will also serve five years of post-release supervision after completing his prison term.

Assistant District Attorney Kyle Robbins prosecuted the case on behalf of the First District Attorney’s Office.
