Police seek suspect in Tupelo credit card theft, unauthorized purchases

Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi and the Tupelo Police Department are seeking the public’s help in locating a suspect involved in a false pretense case under investigation by Tupelo police.

On Jan. 25, 2026, the individual entered a Tupelo business and stole a cellular phone containing linked credit card information, according to authorities. The suspect reportedly used the credit cards to make several unauthorized purchases.

Police urge anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-773-TIPS (8477) or submit an anonymous tip via the P3 Tip App. A reward of up to $2,000 is offered for information leading to an arrest. Crime Stoppers emphasizes that they do not want the caller’s name, only their information. Authorities also encourage sharing the QR code for the P3 Tip App to assist in the investigation.
