Police seek suspects in felony shoplifting in Tupelo

Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi and the Tupelo Police Department are asking for help in identifying two suspects involved in a felony shoplifting case. The incident occurred on Jan. 22, 2026, when employees reported that several items were stolen from a local store.

Surveillance footage shows the suspects, both Black males. One was wearing camouflage pants, a black coat, and a toboggan. The other was dressed in a black and gray hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, white sandals, and a blue hat, according to Crime Stoppers.

The suspects allegedly broke locks off display cases and placed merchandise in their pants before fleeing. Police are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-773-TIPS (8477) or use the P3 Tip App. A tip leading to an arrest could earn up to $2,000, and Crime Stoppers emphasizes they do not want the caller’s name, only their information.
