Chicago man finds success in college after late start

Anthony Linton, originally from Chicago, has demonstrated that it’s never too late to change your story. His journey to Northeast started with a simple conversation but led to significant academic achievements.

Now, Linton is a student in the college’s HVAC program, a member of the Honors Institute, and actively involved in Phi Theta Kappa. As a non-traditional student who went through the Adult Education program, he chose to challenge himself academically.

Linton’s advice to others considering returning to school is to keep persevering. “Never give up on yourself,” he said. His story highlights that regardless of where someone begins, they can achieve more than they ever imagined at Northeast.
