Northeast Practical Nursing students partner with hospital to comfort children

Students in Northeast’s Practical Nursing program partnered with Baptist Memorial Hospital-Booneville to offer stickers, tattoos, and Tiger buddies to comfort children during medical visits.

The initiative provides hands-on experience that begins in the classroom and extends into the community, according to school officials.

Northeast encourages students to serve, lead, and care, emphasizing that their future in healthcare starts with community engagement.
