Cold front to bring increased rain chances in Lower Mississippi Valley

Rain chances will increase late tonight into Wednesday as a cold front moves through the Lower Mississippi Valley, according to weather authorities.

Forecasts indicate total rainfall amounts will generally be less than a quarter of an inch, mainly east of the Mississippi River.

Residents in the region are advised to stay alert for changing weather conditions as the front passes through.
