Freeze Warning in Effect Through Wednesday Morning in Memphis Area

A freeze warning remains in effect through noon Wednesday in the Memphis area, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures are expected to warm into the 40s and low 50s later today.

Residents east of the Mississippi River are advised not to uncover their plants yet, as there is a low to medium chance of another freeze overnight into Wednesday morning, the weather service said.

The weather service recommends caution for gardeners and outdoor enthusiasts as the region experiences these cold conditions. No additional weather alerts have been issued at this time.
