A cold front has moved through the Memphis area, according to the National Weather Service in Memphis. Latest observations show the front passing easily through the region.
Winds are expected to remain breezy through the afternoon, making it feel colder throughout the day, weather officials said. A freeze warning is in effect for the area tonight.
Despite the cold snap, officials indicated relief is on the way, with temperatures expected to warm in the coming days. Residents are advised to take precautions against the cold tonight.
