The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks has opened the application period for the 2026 Wildlife Management Area Spring Turkey Draw Hunts. The deadline to apply is Jan. 31, according to the department’s website.
Non-residents planning to hunt open public land from March 7 to March 31 must also apply for a Public Land License Endorsement. This application period runs from Jan. 15 to Jan. 31. The department clarified that the new Mississippi Wild Turkey Stamp is not required before completing either application.
