Mississippi Wild Turkey Stamp now available for 2026 spring season

The Mississippi Wild Turkey Stamp for the 2026 spring turkey season is now available for purchase, according to the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks (MDWFP). Hunters aged 16 and older, unless exempt, are required to buy the stamp to hunt wild turkeys in the state.

The annual stamp costs $10 for residents and $100 for non-residents. Funds collected through the program support wild turkey management, research, and habitat conservation efforts across Mississippi, MDWFP said.

Hunters can purchase the stamp through several channels, including the MDWFP HuntFish app, the MDWFP license portal, license vendors, or by calling 1-800-5GO-HUNT. After purchasing, hunters will receive three wild turkey harvest identifiers for use with the MDWFP Game Check system.

More information about the Wild Turkey Stamp program is available on the MDWFP website.
