Mississippi Wildlife Commission Opens Public Comment Period on 2026-2027 Hunting Regulations

The Mississippi Commission on Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks announced the proposed hunting season dates and regulations for 2026-2027 during its March meeting. The proposals include dates for migratory game bird seasons, updates to private lands alligator hunting, and extensions to turkey hunting seasons until May 3, 2026, on certain Wildlife Management Areas.
