#SafePlaceSelfie Day will be observed on Wednesday, April 8, this year.
The event encourages individuals to identify and share their safe places to ride out severe weather. Participants are invited to take a photo from their safe location and post it on social media using the hashtag #SafePlaceSelfie.
The campaign aims to inspire others to prepare and recognize safe locations during extreme weather events. More information is available at https://www.noaa.gov/safeplaceselfie.
