National Weather Service Memphis Seeks Snow Reports from Public

The National Weather Service in Memphis, Tennessee, is requesting snow reports from the public. In a social media post Saturday morning at 10:10 a.m. CST, officials urged residents to share their snowfall measurements.

They advised that snowfall should be reported in tenths of an inch, such as 2.1 inches or 3.4 inches. The agency thanked residents for their cooperation as they monitor the winter weather.

Snowfall reports help meteorologists track storm progress and improve forecast accuracy, the NWS said.
