Northeast Mississippi Community College Campus Police will host a free vehicle safety check event on Thursday, March 5, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the end of the boulevard by the fountain.
Officers will examine oil levels, washer fluid, tire pressure, tire tread, and lights and signals to ensure vehicles are road-ready. The event aims to promote safe travel for students heading out for Spring Break.
Students are encouraged to take advantage of the free service before hitting the road, according to campus police. Safe travels start at Northeast Mississippi Community College.
