Northeast Honors Institute Students Shine at Mississippi Honors Conference
Students from Northeast Mississippi Community College’s Honors Institute earned multiple awards at the Mississippi Honors Conference held at Belhaven University. The event brings together top honors students from two- and four-year colleges across the state.
Angela Portillo-Hernandez took first place in social sciences, while Anna Slack also secured first place in STEM. John Gaines finished third in STEM, according to the college.
