Northeast Mississippi Community College Hosts Sealant Day for Local Second Graders

Northeast Mississippi Community College hosted Sealant Day for second graders in Prentiss County, according to a college news release.

Dental hygiene students offered free cavity-preventing sealants, while nursing students conducted vision screenings and vital checks, the college said.

The event aimed to promote health and preventive care among young students. College officials expressed pride in their students’ community service efforts, the release added.
