Gavin Burt and Garrett Oglesby have been named New Century Farmers by the National FFA Organization. The recognition highlights their achievements in agriculture among students nationwide.
The two students will travel to Indianapolis this summer for a weeklong program. The event offers opportunities to explore advanced agricultural practices and connect with industry leaders, according to the FFA.
The organization praised Burt and Oglesby for their dedication and leadership. It also emphasized the importance of supporting young farmers as future industry innovators.
