Percy Quin State Park boat ramp closed due to flooding

The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks announced that the boat ramp at Percy Quin State Park in McComb is closed until further notice. The closure resulted from recent flooding that caused aquatic vegetation to accumulate on and around the ramp, making it inaccessible, according to MDWFP.

MDWFP staff are working to clear the ramp and restore access. The department will notify the public once the ramp reopens.

Bank fishing at the park remains available. Anglers are required to have a valid Mississippi fishing license and a state lake permit unless exempt under state law. An entry fee of $2 per person applies to visitors entering the park.
