Requirements to Become a CoCoRaHS Volunteer

Interested in joining the Community Collaborative Rain, Hail & Snow Network (CoCoRaHS)? Volunteers need internet access, an approved rain gauge, a flat site with good rainfall exposure, and a willingness to enter daily rainfall totals, according to the organization.

Rain gauges can be ordered online at Weather Your Way. Volunteers are encouraged to sign up and contribute to weather data collection efforts.

Participation helps improve weather forecasts and climate data for communities across the country. No prior experience is necessary to become a valuable part of the network.
