Severe Storms Expected in Mid-South Tonight, NWS Warns

A fast-moving line of storms is expected to impact the Mid-South region later today into this evening, the National Weather Service in Memphis reported.

The storms are projected to arrive in northeastern Arkansas around 4 p.m. and move into Alabama by midnight. Authorities warn residents to prepare for damaging winds and the potential for spin-up tornadoes.
