Two Booneville men charged in Prentiss County shed burglary

The Prentiss County Sheriff’s Department announced charges against two men following a burglary investigation. On February 6, 2026, deputies responded to a report of a shed break-in on County Road 1219, with several items reported stolen.

On February 14, authorities identified Dustin Blade Asher, 23, and Austin Tyler Adams, 30, both of Booneville, as suspects. Both men face charges of burglary of a commercial building.

Adams also faces additional charges of possession of a weapon by a felon, conspiracy, and is being charged as a habitual offender, according to the sheriff’s office. Bond for Asher was set at $25,000, while Adams’ bond was set at $105,000.

The case has been forwarded to the next Prentiss County Grand Jury. Investigator Aaron Stolz is handling the case, with assistance from investigators Torie Jumper and Kolby Knight, the sheriff’s office said.
