Arrest Made in Booneville Shooting Incident

A Winona man has been arrested in a shooting incident that happened mid-August at the August Circle Apartments in Booneville.

Marcus Leshawn Woods, a 24 year old male from Winona, was arrested after an ongoing investigation by the Criminal Investigation Division of the Booneville Police Department.

Woods was formally charged with one felony count of conspiracy to commit armed robbery.

His bond has been set at $200,000.00.

According to the Booneville Police Department, the investigation into this incident is still ongoing as of this release.
