Man from Saucier Arrested for Commercial Burglary
A forty year old man from Saucier has been arrested in connection with the attempted burglary of Fazzio’s Home & Farm Center and stolen property from a Subway restaurant.
On Sunday, Harrison County Sheriff’s office released the news that Josiah Thomas Isham had been arrested. His arrest came after a burglary in progress was reported at the Fazzio’s Home & Farm Center on Highway 53.
According to a press release from Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, when the deputies arrived on the scene after the report of a burglary in progress, they encountered Isham, who was in the process of attempting to break into the store.
Upon investigation, Isham was also found to be in possession of property that had been stolen from a Subway nearby.
When investigators were dispatched to the Subway in question, they found that the glass front door had been shattered.
Isham has been charged with commercial burglary and one count of malicious mischief. Justice Court Judge Albert Fountain set Isham’s bond at $50,000. Isham is currently booked into the Harrison County Adult Detention Center.
