Corinth Police Department issues scam alert to local residents
The Corinth Police department issued a scam alert to local residents on Tuesday.

Scam Alert
Please be aware that several residents have received via USPS Priority Mail a fraudulent cashier’s check along with a ‘secret shopper survey’ or ‘customer service evaluation tool’.
The scenario is that the victim purchases select gift cards from particular merchants with funds from the alleged check. The gift card information is then relayed to the malefactor. The check is fraudulent and once negotiated, the burden of redress unfortunately falls on the victim.
