Gulf SAR and United Cajun Navy deployed to assist in the search for Mr. Wade Davis

Gulf SAR and United Cajun Navy have deployed to Jacinto, Mississippi to assist the Alcorn County Sheriff’s Department, the Jacinto Volunteer Fire Department and other local agencies and volunteers in the ongoing efforts to locate Mr. Davis. A temporary command post will set up at the Christ Gospel Church, located at 10 Hwy 367, Burnsville, Mississippi.
Participants should be prepared for heat, rough terrain, snakes and other wildlife. The missing man is identified as 77 year old Wade Davis of Corinth, Alcorn County, MS.
Mr. Davis is described as a white male, five feet seven inches tall, weighing 200 pounds, with white hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing dark blue jeans, a checked short sleeve shirt, and brown New Balanced tennis shoes. Wade Davis also had a brindle-colored Boxer dog, Buddy, with a choke chain and metal leash.He was last seen Wednesday, June 22, at about 9:30 AM in the 300 block of County Road 343 in Alcorn County, walking in a north direction. The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation has issued a Silver Alert.
