Scammers are using the Corinth Police Department phone number to steal your personal information

The Corinth Police Department has issued a warning: reports are coming in that scammers are “spoofing”, or stealing, their phone number. It is an attempt to steal your personal or financial information.

From the PD:

“We have had reports that scammers are using the Police Dept. phone number in their attempt to request finanacial or personal information from the public. If you receive a phone call from 286-3377 and they are requesting personal information, please hang up. The police dept will never contact you over the phone for personal or financial information.”
