Alcorn County Emergency Management and the Alcorn County Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) are inviting local agencies, businesses, and organizations to take part in the first annual Alcorn County Health & Safety Fair.
The fair is set for Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Crossroads Arena in Alcorn County.
Organizers describe the event as a day dedicated to promoting health, safety, and preparedness in the community. Planned features include health resources, safety information, community partners, emergency preparedness displays, and activities for the whole family.
Vendors wanted
Agencies interested in participating as vendors are encouraged to sign up now. According to Alcorn County EMA Logistics Chief Ryan Wood, the vendor handout is ready and organizers welcome additional inquiries.
