Corinth Police Searching for Suspect in Tuesday Night Shooting

CORINTH, Miss. — Police are searching for a suspect in connection with a Tuesday night shooting that left one man hospitalized.

The incident occurred at a residence on Mathis Road and appears to have been sparked by an argument over a vehicle. The victim, identified as Michael Gunn, underwent surgery at Magnolia Regional Health Center and remains hospitalized.

Authorities have identified the suspect as 29-year-old Jacob Gaige Moss of Corinth. Moss is described as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall, with tattoos on his arms. His last known address is 1511 Washington Street.

Anyone with information on Moss’ whereabouts is urged to contact the Corinth Police Department at 662-286-3377.
