Felony drug arrest made in Corinth on 4/19

Corinth Police issued a press release about a felony drug arrest.

From Corinth PD:

**Felony Drug Arrest**

On 04/19/23 at approximately 10:15 am, Officer Waters initiated a traffic stop on a white Buick driven by Tonya Johnson. Drug paraphernalia along with a felony amount of methamphetamine was located in the vehicle. Ms. Johnson was charged with misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia and felony possession of methamphetamine.

The misdemeanor will be handled in Corinth Municipal Court and the felony will be presented to an Alcorn County Grand Jury.
