Applications are now available for the Pelahatchie Bay Alligator Season, according to the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks. The application period runs from Feb. 2 through Feb. 13.
This season features several notable differences from previous public water alligator seasons, the department said. Applicants should review the new season details before submitting their applications. The department emphasized that those interested should act quickly, as the application window is limited.
