Cold Front Sparks Severe Weather and Flash Flood Threat in Memphis Area
A slow-moving cold front is forecast to produce a second round of severe weather mainly along and south of Interstate 40 in Tennessee, according to the National Weather Service in Memphis.
The system could bring an additional 1.5 to 2 inches of rain in these areas today, increasing the risk of flash flooding, the weather service said.
Residents are advised to stay alert for weather updates and take precautions to protect themselves and their property from potential flooding and severe storms.
