HRRR forecast indicates storm development over NE Oklahoma and SE Kansas

The High-Resolution Rapid Refresh (HRRR) model accurately predicts storm development over northeastern Oklahoma and southeastern Kansas, according to meteorologists.

Simulated radar imagery from 4 a.m. to 1 p.m. shows storms moving into east Arkansas and approaching the Mississippi River. Forecasters say the model’s accuracy helps in tracking potential severe weather in the region.

Officials advise residents to stay alert for updated weather alerts as storms could impact the area during the morning hours.
