The Mississippi Department of Revenue is closed Monday in observance of the Independence Day holiday, according to a department statement.
The closure is part of the statewide holiday observance, with officials encouraging residents to celebrate safely. The department did not specify when it will reopen.
Officials extended holiday wishes for a happy, healthy, and safe Fourth of July weekend to all residents.
