Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks Celebrates Summer Interns

The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks is highlighting the progress of its 2026 interns this summer. The department praised their motivation to learn more about the state and how to manage and protect natural resources.

Department staff are mentoring the interns and supporting their growth. Officials said they are pleased to see the interns develop their skills as the summer continues.

MDWFP officials noted that the internship program provides valuable hands-on experience for students interested in conservation and resource management. The department looks forward to seeing further progress from the interns as the season advances.
