Mississippi governor, first lady host Cadet Class 70 graduation ceremony

Governor Tate Reeves and First Lady Elee Reeves hosted Cadet Class 70 in a ceremony before their upcoming graduation, according to a statement from the governor’s office.

Forty-four cadets remain in training as they prepare to serve the people of Mississippi, the statement said. Officials expressed pride in their dedication, discipline and commitment to public safety.

The statement also recognized the tactical officers who have trained the cadets, noting their leadership and hours of effort in preparing the next generation of law enforcement officers.
