The Phi Theta Kappa chapter at North Mississippi College highlighted its commitment to community service last week during a meeting that featured guest speaker CT Grist, executive director of the North Mississippi Chapter of the American Red Cross.
The chapter launched its annual fundraiser to support disaster relief efforts, with the group raising more than $3,000 last year, according to members. They hope to increase that amount this year.
During the meeting, members emphasized the chapter’s focus on leadership, service, and community impact. The fundraiser aims to make a difference beyond campus, demonstrating the organization’s dedication to helping those in need.
