Prentiss County man charged with assault after incident on County Road 1195
The Prentiss County Sheriff’s Department responded to two calls on County Road 1195 involving the same suspect, Jeremy Vincent Stone, 44, of Booneville. The first call reported trespassing and property destruction. Later, deputies were dispatched again after the complainant said the same individual returned and struck them with a vehicle.
The altercation was captured on camera. Based on the investigation, the complainant signed an affidavit, leading to a warrant for Stone’s arrest. He has been charged with aggravated assault using a deadly weapon or other means likely to produce death or serious bodily harm.
Justice Court Judge Ray Hall set Stone’s bond at $75,000, cash or professional bond only. A no-contact order with the victim was also issued. The case will be presented to the Prentiss County Grand Jury by Investigator Torie Jumper. Investigator Aaron Stolz, along with Deputies Dennis Peeks and AJ Navarro, assisted in the investigation.
