The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center has issued an enhanced risk level for severe storms in Mississippi from Wednesday afternoon through early Thursday morning.
The alert warns of damaging winds up to 70 mph, hail the size of golf balls, and the possibility of strong tornadoes, according to the center.
