The National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning for Covington, Jefferson Davis, and Simpson counties in Mississippi. The warning is in effect until 1:15 a.m. CST.

Residents in the affected areas are advised to seek shelter immediately and stay tuned to local weather updates. No reports of damage or injuries have been confirmed at this time.
