City of Belmont issues shelter in place order, closure of factories encouraged

The City of Belmont has issued a shelter in place order, stopping all non essential travel and closing non essential business.

The order is set to go in place after Midnight on March 23rd and last until April 5th.

Among some of the issued it addresses:

A shelter in place order for citizens.

The mayor, chief of police and fire chief can investigate and enforce the order.

It specifically lays out that the furniture industry is not considered essential business
