Mississippi working on grant program for small businesses to replace lost revenue

Mississippi is working out details on a small business grant program to help replace revenue lost due to COVID19.

From the Lt. Governor:

By agreement of Lt. Governor Delbert Hosemann and Speaker of the House Philip Gunn, the Mississippi Legislature will resume the session on Thursday, May 7, at 1 p.m.

Senate and House leadership are working now on the details of a program to help small businesses using part of the Coronavirus Relief Fund. The details will be released later this week.

We know Mississippi’s small businesses–our local restaurants, barber shops, hair salons, and retail shops–need our help to get back on track. We intend to act provide much-needed relief immediately #TeamMississippi
