Convicted Killer of Holly Bobo Denied New Trial
A Memphis judge has denied the request by Zach Adams of a retrial over his 2017 conviction of killing 20-year old Holly Bobo in 2011.
Adams was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole plus fifty years in September 2017. He was charged with kidnapping, raping, and murdering Bobo.
The defendant’s attorney claimed the trial should have taken place farther away from the site of the crime or that jurors should have been brought in from an unbiased area.
