Officials believe there is “no chance” missing fishing team survived
Officials who have been searching for multiple days for a missing fishing team missing since Saturday believe there is “no chance” they survived.
TWRA Regional Communications Coordinator Amy Spencer gave details on the search as agency and volunteer efforts began Wednesday morning.
The update from the tragic accident involving three fishermen on the Tennessee River at Pickwick Dam said this is now a search and recovery operation as opposed to search and rescue.
Spencer went on to say that conditions, including the way the boat was wrecked and water temperature, make it so there is no chance the three could have survived.
The two teenagers and one of their fathers have been missing since Saturday.
