Two rounds of storms are expected to impact the Mid-South today, according to weather forecasts. The first round is expected to occur through 3 p.m., primarily along the Tennessee River and east of the Mississippi River.
The second round is forecasted from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., affecting the entire Mid-South region as storms move southeast from central Missouri.
The main threat from these storms is damaging wind. Large hail and heavy rainfall are also possible, said meteorologists. Residents are advised to stay alert and follow local weather updates throughout the day.
