A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Alcorn County for Sunday morning by the National Weather service out of Memphis. Expect damaging winds with this storm.

They suggest you get to the lowest level of your home or an interior room now.

The warning goes until 1030 this morning.

  Northeastern Alcorn County in northeastern Mississippi...
  Eastern McNairy County in western Tennessee...
  Hardin County in western Tennessee...

* Until 1030 AM CDT.

* At 937 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Savannah,
  moving southeast at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Corinth, Savannah, Iuka, Pickwick Landing State Park, J P Coleman
  State Park, Adamsville, Burnsville, Glen, Pickwick Dam, Morris
  Chapel, Shiloh, Walnut Grove, Pineflat, Olive Hill, Farmington,
  Crump, Michie, Guys, Saltillo and Stantonville.
