One Killed, One Airlifted After Crash in Alcorn County

An 18-year-old was killed and another seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday night on Highway 72 East near Glen, according to the Mississippi Highway Patrol.

Albert O’Neal of Tate County died at the scene. The second driver was airlifted to Memphis with life-threatening injuries.

Officers have described the accident as a head on collision.
