Felony Drug Arrest

On March 14th, 2023, Officer Waters and Officer Witten conducted a traffic stop on a blue Ford Escape for a traffic violation. The driver was identified as Michael McNair and he gave consent to search. Officers located a bag of a white crystal-like substance suspected to be methamphetamine inside the vehicle.

McNair was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (felony) and Driving with a Suspended License.

The felony will be presented to an Alcorn County grand jury and the misdemeanor will be handled in Corinth Municipal Court.
